District Yoga Championship 2019

Thrissur district Yoga (P&R) Association is conducting 34th District Yogasana competition for V R Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy this Sunday 24th November 2019 at Vivekodayam School, in Thrissur city, Kerala. Registered participants from nook and corner of the district and beyond compete under 16 distinct age groups from sub juniors to veterans. Competitors will be judged by expert teachers of the Association for perfection, ease of movements, flexibility as well as stability. Winners at the group level will compete for the individual championship showcasing the most difficult and powerful yogic postures. The whole program will be under the chief guidance and mentorship of Shri. Gopinath Edakkunni, a 2-time National Yogasana champion with an experience of 4 decades. The program will be inaugurated by Shri. T N Pratapan (Member of Parliament) and Prize distribution will be presided by Shri. M V Rudran, (Asst. Commissioner of Income Tax). You are cordially invited to the program. Entry is free and participation fee for the competition is fixed at INR 100. Kindly do register well in advance as registration is not allowed on competition day
